List of Northern Colorado After Proms 2025

Prom night is a milestone event for high school students, symbolizing the culmination of their secondary education and the transition to new beginnings and adulthood. However, this celebration historically comes with risks, including impaired driving. To combat this, schools and communities traditionally organized “after-prom” events – safe, supervised, entertaining parties that extend the festivities without the dangers associated with drug or alcohol use.

As school funding has changed in recent decades, so has the ability of many schools to host after-proms. Those that still exist are almost entirely parent volunteer-run, and funds must be raised outside the school budget. While we know 39% of teens think it’s “likely” their friends will drink or use drugs on prom night, the goal of after-prom is to keep anyone who is impaired off the road. No DUI NoCo is pleased to promote and sponsor the following after-proms in Northern Colorado in 2025.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT AFTER-PROMS

Encourage your teen to attend – Talk about the importance of making safe choices on prom night.

Volunteer or donate – Many after-proms are run by parent committees and rely on community support.

Spread the word – Share this information with parents, students, and school staff to ensure a successful turnout.

After-prom events play a crucial role in safeguarding our youth during one of their most memorable nights. By providing engaging, substance-free environments, these events not only deter impaired driving but also foster a sense of community and responsibility. Let’s work together to make sure every student in Northern Colorado has a fun, safe, and sober prom night.

Know of an after-prom event we missed? Let us know, and we’ll add it to the list!

No DUI NoCo Mission:

The No DUI NoCo coalition and campaign was born out of the need to address the problem of impaired driving in our community. The goal is to prevent driving under the influence of alcohol or other substances by increasing community responsibility for safe and responsible driving.

Our campaign is encouraging the public to “Make the Call” to end impaired driving in our community. Make the Call to get a safe ride home. Make the Call about whether you should get behind the wheel, and Make the Call to report suspected impaired drivers. Driving under the influence IS an emergency – please call 911 if you see someone you suspect is driving impaired.
