Fort Collins’ Safe Choice overnight parking program is designed to address this issue head-on. The Safe Choice overnight parking program is a crucial component of Fort Collins’ comprehensive approach to promoting responsible and safe behavior among residents. Managed by the city’s Parking Services, this initiative provides a viable alternative for individuals who may be impaired and need a safe place to park their vehicles overnight.

Key features of the program include:

FREE and Accessible

Safe choice is not only a responsible option, it’s FREE for all. Simply leave your car where it’s parked, notify the city, and plan to pick up your vehicle by noon the following day. If you need more time, simply contact Parking Services. Alternatively, if you are parked in a parking garage, you can extend your stay using the ParkMobile app for only $1 per hour.

Community Collaboration

Fort Collins’ Safe Choice Overnight Parking Program is a collaborative effort involving various stakeholders, including law enforcement, community organizations, and local businesses. This collaborative approach emphasizes the importance of community-wide support in addressing the issue of impaired driving.
